On June 8th, the official website of Canada released a news, trying to greatly increase the speed of Asian students applying for a study, as follows:

Canada (IRCC) is making great strides by finding effective ways to process applications for admissions and promoting Canada as the preferred destination for international students seeking quality education.

To support the growth of the Study Permit application, the IRCC today announced the Learning Direct Entry (SDS), which is available to students applying for Study Permit in China, India, Vietnam and the Philippines. Students in countries that have proven their financial resources and language skills to achieve academic success in Canada will expedite processing time.

These four countries have been promoting similar programs for several years. We now combine them into one program to ensure consistency.

We are also working to expand the student direct entry SDS to Africa and are looking for options in Kenya and Senegal. The expansion to Senegal will meet the focus of the department and attract more French-speaking students to Canada.

In order to meet Checklist's requirements, applicants need to meet other requirements, especially for language requirements that are more stringent than normal application requirements. Students who do not meet all of the additional information required by Checklist can apply online through the regular study permit application process or at the Visa Application Center.

Student Direct Entry Program SDS complements the Express Entry system because if they wish, these students will be eligible to continue their permanent residency and Canadian citizenship status after completing their studies in Canada.

The IRCC is committed to improving its international student program by making its services faster, easier, and easier to access. The success of the SDS program will be assessed with a view to expanding the program by 2019.

To apply for a student direct entry plan, the following requirements must be met:

· Study at a designated learning institution in Canada and provide a first year tuition receipt;

· Purchase a 10,000 Canadian Dollar Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC);

· Must be pre-examined;

· Niveaux decompétencelinguistique canadiens with at least 6 points in English IELTS or 7 points in French (TEF) or a high school in Canada. Not less than 6 points;

In the previous articles of Study Abroad, I have written a student direct entry plan. For details, please refer to: http://ecanadaschool.com/News/137.aspx

At present, the application time for submitting the study in China is 4 weeks, the Philippines is 6 weeks, India is 7 weeks, and Vietnam is 18 weeks. The general Canadian school starts in September and the language center starts in August. It is already in early June, and students who have not yet submitted their studies need to step up preparations. If you are unclear about the list of documents when you are preparing for the study, please feel free to contact us. We have a professional immigration consultant to provide free consultation.
