In recent years, the immigration policy in Canada has been surging and changing. We often receive consultations from customers to ask which projects can now be immigrants and which are good immigrants. From now on, Canadian and American immigrants will come to check out the mainstream projects that can be immigrated to Canada. We will divide them into three parts.

It can be said that the immigration initiative is now fully in the hands of the government. However, immigration in all countries follows the government's policies, and the history and trends of each project can better plan their immigrants. From now on, Canadian and American immigrants will come to check out the mainstream projects that can be immigrated to Canada. We will divide them into three parts. The complete project map can be found in the chart below.

Today, CIIS will explain the first chapter - Investment / Entrepreneur Immigration.

Investment/entrepreneur immigration can be said to be:

1. From the original no quota limit to the current limited number of places,

2. From the original direct submission to the government for review, many projects have to be submitted to the designated fund company for screening.

3. The province’s nominated entrepreneurs’ immigrants have all become EOI screening systems from the previous no-scores.

4. Many projects do not need to understand English until now, almost all English requirements are required.

5. From the past step to the present, many projects need to come to Canada to do business after immigration status.

From the above figure, we can see that the current investment/entrepreneurship immigration project is divided into two categories according to whether the applicant understands English. Let us first look at these provincial nominee entrepreneurs who need to understand English.

1. Ontario entrepreneur immigration OINP-understand English

On July 8, 2019, the Ontario Immigration Department officially implemented a new entrepreneurial immigration, and the investment amount of entrepreneurial immigrants was reduced from the previous 500,000 Canadian dollars to 200,000 Canadian dollars (investing in most areas or information and communication technology fields). Or $1 million to $600,000 (investing in most of the area).

Applicants who have not received an invitation for entrepreneurship immigration before July 8, 2019 will need to re-register for the EOI system and wait for the immigration office to be invited under the new policy.

Let me talk about why Canadian immigrants think that Ontario entrepreneurship is an immigrant project that we highly recommend:

1. There are 21 universities and 24 colleges in Ontario. Many important reasons for family immigration are for children's education. Ontario can provide you with the best educational resources;

2. Ontario is Canada's most economically developed province and Canada's most populous province. Ontario has more business opportunities than other provinces.

3. The applicant may also apply for a work permit while the employee is doing business in Ontario, and the child enjoys 12 years of free education.

4. Now all provincial entrepreneurs have language requirements in the first phase of immigration. Ontario does not need a language when it first applies for and submits a work permit application. It is only required to submit CLB4 (equivalent to IELTS 4 points) when submitting a provincial nominee application after coming to Ontario to do business, and IELTS 4 points. For many applicants, efforts can still be achieved.

5. The reformed investment income of entrepreneurs in Ontario will be greatly reduced. Most of the foreign areas or information technology fields only need a minimum investment of 200,000 Canadian dollars. Below are the most regional maps.

6. New opportunities for new projects, according to past experience, the lottery scores may be lower at the beginning of the general project, but as time and applicants increase, the opportunities will become larger in the future.

7. The minimum asset requirement outside the GTA is 400,000 Canadian dollars, the investment is 200,000 yuan, and only a minimum of one employee is required, and the threshold is very low.

8. Most industries and businesses accept it, and few unpopular industries.

At the same time, we also take a look at the shortcomings of this project:

1. This is a project that first immigrates after a work visa, and there is a big difference between a one-step project that directly takes status (for example, Quebec investment immigrants or NSW entrepreneur immigrants).

2. Although the English grades are submitted after coming to Canada for business, if you do not meet the English requirements in the end, you will not get immigration status.

3. This project must be a business. If the applicant finally quits doing business or can't reach the plan submitted in advance, he will not be able to obtain immigration status.

Some of the cities we often hear about, such as Niagara City, Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Hamilton, London, Barrie, etc. They belong to most of the regions and meet the minimum investment of 200,000 Canadian dollars.

The applicant's requirements are as follows:

1. Experience: 2 years of business or senior management experience in the past 5 years;

2. Assets: The total assets of the family are 800,000 Canadian dollars (investing in most of the area) or 400,000 Canadian dollars (investing in most areas or information and communication technology fields);

3. Investment amount: Each nominated applicant should invest at least 600,000 Canadian dollars (mostly within the region) or 200,000 Canadian dollars (investing in most areas or information and communication technology areas). Have at least 1/3 of the company's shares;

4. Need to actively participate in daily management;

5. The main purpose of business investment should be profit, not just to obtain interest or dividends;

6. Job creation: Create at least 2 full-time employment opportunities for Canadian citizens/residents (mostly within the region), or 1 employment opportunity (investing in most areas or ICTs)

Apply for provincial nomination application requirements:

* Establishing a business in accordance with the business plan and meeting the Performance Agreement, you also need to meet:

Language: CLB 4 (equivalent to about 4 minutes for IELTS)

Residence requirements: 75% of the time must be spent in Ontario (9 months in 1 year);

Active management: Actively participate in daily management;

Application fee: CAD 3,500

Important reminding of CIIS: At the beginning of the project, the invitation scores are usually low and the overall requirements are low. It is strongly recommended that the applicants seize the golden time at the beginning. The Canadian immigrants are located in Toronto, Ontario, and have a unique geographical advantage. All aspects assist the applicant's application.

2. Manitoba entrepreneur immigration MPNP-understand English

Entrepreneur immigration in Manitoba is one of the earliest entrepreneurial immigrant projects in Canada. It has always been favored by applicants from all over the world. At the end of 2017, the one-stop Manitoba entrepreneur immigration officially announced its end and will take effect immediately! After half a year, it was officially implemented on May 18, 2018. Instead, it was the requirement for immigration after the first work visa. The applicant was required to purchase or establish a business that meets the requirements within 24 months of getting the work permit to log in. Pay an investment deposit of 100,000 Canadian dollars.

Since the previous requirements of the project have always been lower thresholds, the number of applicants has remained stable for a long time; now, after the introduction of the New Deal, all old cases will be cut off simultaneously. The language has never been rigidly required, and it requires a minimum of 5 points for IELTS. The qualifications have not changed from the original requirements to the minimum high school graduation.

A client approved by CIIS in June 2019, from the file number, speculated that the application was one of the top 10 applications after the New Draw last year, and successfully received the nomination of the province in less than one year. The approval letter, the applicant's timeline is as follows:

July 2018: Submit EOI, apply for online intentions, and be invited by the government in the same month;

September 2018: Submit a full set of information;

December 2018: Third-party assets are approved and passed to the provincial nomination

April 2019: Interview

May 2019: Supplementary documents

June 2019: Manitoba issues pre-approval letter

Applicants from South American countries, South American countries are often suspected of the legal source of assets and the integrity of the documents, how to properly verify and explain the key to the success of the case. CIIS have extensive experience in this area.

The approval letter is as follows:

The conditions for applying for entrepreneurship in Manitoba are as follows:

1. Business management experience: At least 3 years of business/management experience in the past 5 years; business owners have higher scores in the system than executives; but business owners need at least 33.3% of the shares;

2. Language: Minimum CLB5 (equivalent to IELTS 5 points or so)

3. Education: Minimum high school graduation;

4. Age: No requirement, but there will be a score in the system between the ages of 25-49;

5. Business investment: If you are in the provincial capital of Man Province (including Winnipeg and surrounding areas), the minimum investment is 250,000 yuan; if it is outside the provincial capital, the minimum investment is 150,000 Canadian dollars; at least one job opportunity for Canadian locals;

6. Business visits: Business plans are required; business visits must be conducted within 1 year prior to submission of the EOI;

7. Adaptability: If the spouse language has CLB5, there are close relatives in Manitoba. Children who have studied in Manitoba for more than half a year, applicants/spouses who have had education or work experience in Manitoba, will receive a certain extra points;

8. Net assets: a minimum of 500,000 household assets, an assessment report from a third-party agency is required;

3. Saskatchewan entrepreneur immigrant SINP - understand English

The entrepreneurial immigrants in Saskatchewan were originally the only projects in many Canadian entrepreneurial immigrants who did not understand English and had the opportunity to screen them. Unfortunately, as the number of applicants increased, the invitation scores rose and the highest invitation score reached 120 points.

In March 2015, Saskatchewan nominated entrepreneurs to re-receive applications, from the original first immigration to do business, to first take the work visa in Saskatchewan to do business and then apply for Saskatchewan nomination, using the EOI scoring system, but the score It has remained at a high segment until May 2017, when the score dropped to 80 points and maintained a historical low of 80 points for 4 times, which attracted a large number of applicants. Later, the score climbed from 80 points to another high point. Soared to 125 points (out of 150 points). The data for the invitations issued over the years are as follows:

It can be seen that although there is no mandatory English requirement for the project, the Saskatchewan government will give priority to applicants with English requirements. The score difference between English and no English can be as high as 15 points (the following picture shows the official score of the Saskatchewan government). Partial screenshot with language scores)
