For people who are looking for work, if you received the interview, congratulations for having passed the review of the curriculum vitae. However, this does not mean that you can go to an interview without preparing. I think many people have been interviewed many times, but in the end they didn't accept the job.

Research


Remember that before going to an interview, you should investigate about the company or company you applied for the job so you can predict the questions that the company will ask and know the basic information of the company. Technical: questions you need technical knowledge or practical experience to answer. For example, briefly explain the function of the condenser in the refrigerator.

Scenario: you need to evaluate the described scenario and determine what you would do in this case. For example, you are doing a group project, but when you are going to present the project, you found a member of the group that is not prepared, what would you do?

Explore: provide additional information related to the employer's needs to show competence and skills. For example, tell me more information about the experience as the financial consultant.

Conduct: requires that you mention a real situation and the skills you have used. For example, it indicates when to provide high quality service.

In conclusion of these kinds of questions, those that are related to knowledge appeared easier as the factual, theoretical and technical questions because they had already learned in school. On the other hand, the questions that are scenario and explore are a bit more complicated. Here I recommend that you use three steps to answer this kind of questions. The first is to tell the antecedent that includes when and where the skills related to the applied position are used, the second is action, what skills I use, and the third is the result, as was the result of their action.


Things to keep in mind




Review the content of the resume: the employer will probably ask you about your resume such as: previous experience, awards or honors obtained, and the skills that match the job.

Dress appropriately: some companies dress formally to show professionalism. Then I should dress in suits when I go to the interview. This can also give employers a good impression.

Prepare your questions: When employers ask you what questions you have at the end of the interview, remember not to say you don't have or ask questions about companies that can be found online. This will make you seem selfless to work.
