These three pathways are part of the Province of Manitoba Nominee Program (MPNP), which allows the province to nominate immigrant candidates with the skills required by local employers to apply for permanent residence in Canada. Language (max 125 points)
English / French as the first official language, CLB level 12 scores 12 points, level 5 scores 17 points, level 6 scores 20 points, level 7 scores 22 points, and level 8 scores 25 points. Points are calculated for each subject.

Age (max 75 points)
Work experience (max 175 points)
40 points in one year, 50 points in two years, 60 points in 3 years, 75 points in 4 years or more, and 100 points in the province.
Education (max 125 points)
125 points for a master's or doctoral degree, 115 points for two professional diplomas (at least two years each), 110 points for a three-year degree or higher, 100 points for a two-year course, and one one-year 70 points for the course and 70 points for the Trade Certificate.
Adaptability (max 500 points)
200 points for immediate family and friends, 100 points for at least 6 months of work, 100 points for completing a two-year or more course, 50 points for completing a one-year course, and 50 points for distant relatives / friends.

Technical workers who wish to be nominated by the province must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) on the official website. The province gives candidates points based on their education, work experience, level of English or French, and contacts with the province, and then invites the highest-scoring candidate in the regular draw of the EOI pool.
