The Immigration Department of Manitoba issued a provincial nomination invitation to 222 MPNP Skilled Workers candidates on March 12. This is the first invitation to the Skilled Workers candidate issued by the Province of Man in March. It will be given to Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, Skilled Workers Overseas stream and International Education stream. candidate.

These three pathways are part of the Province of Manitoba Nominee Program (MPNP), which allows the province to nominate immigrant candidates with the skills required by local employers to apply for permanent residence in Canada. In the invitation on March 12, the number of “application proposals” for the three channels is distributed as follows:

In the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, the overall invitation score has recently dropped, and the last two invitations have fallen below the 500-point mark.

40 points in one year, 50 points in two years, 60 points in 3 years, 75 points in 4 years or more, and 100 points in the province.

Education (max 125 points)


125 points for a master's or doctoral degree, 115 points for two professional diplomas (at least two years each), 110 points for a three-year degree or higher, 100 points for a two-year course, and one one-year 70 points for the course and 70 points for the Trade Certificate.

Adaptability (max 500 points)


200 points for immediate family and friends, 100 points for at least 6 months of work, 100 points for completing a two-year or more course, 50 points for completing a one-year course, and 50 points for distant relatives / friends.

Mr. A, 25 years old, has no overseas education or work experience. He has completed a 1-year professional course in Manitoba Province. He is currently in short supply of a local professional job for more than 6 months and the job offer is long-term. CLB 4 Level 4, score 623‍

That is to say, if you take a one-year course locally, work for 6 months after graduation, and the employer provides a permanent job offer, you can get a full score of 500 on the fitness level.


Technical workers who wish to be nominated by the province must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) on the official website. The province gives candidates points based on their education, work experience, level of English or French, and contacts with the province, and then invites the highest-scoring candidate in the regular draw of the EOI pool.


The Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream is open to eligible temporary foreign workers, as well as international graduates who currently work in the province and have permanent full-time employment.
