Program Description:

Know it. Understand it. Test it. Communicate it. Knowledge of software and hardware is important, and in today's fast-paced information technology world, making sure everything is running smoothly is essential to running an effective operation. You'll emerge from the Software and Information Systems Testing program with a better understanding of the testing paradigms and methods associated with IT and software development. You'll understand software and hardware, how to ensure quality control and how to use project management approaches and business analysis techniques.

You'll gain broad skills but get in-demand skills that you can pair with any of the other diplomas offered in the School of Information Technology. You'll learn how to write external test scripts and the different methods used to figure out the experience of the end-user, from bug testing to reporting. You'll graduate with practical experience in project management, leadership and security testing.

Advantages:
The School of Design offers a two-year Conservatory Training Program in Theatre Arts - Performance. The program offers in-depth training for the aspiring performer, including Acting, Voice, Choral Singing, Mask, Shakespeare, Improvisation, Theatre History, Movement for the Actor, Acting for the Camera and a variety of Master Classes with visiting Artists. Within the program is the opportunity to work with staff and students from other programs at the College, including the Advanced Filmmaking program, as well as professional Directors and Actors. Our professors, highly regarded experts in their field, bring real world experience and understanding to the specific challenges of this profession, helping and encouraging the aspiring actor to discover a method of working specific to each of them. This acting program trains actors for the long term and establishes a strong foundation from which to launch a professional career as an actor.

Admission Requirement:

OSSD with courses from the College (C), University (U),
University/College (M), or Open (O) stream WITH:
- Any Grade 12 English (C) or (U)
OR
Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) 
OR
Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
OR
Mature Applicant with standing in the required course stated above

This program prepares graduates for a career in theatre, film and television. The program is also an excellent preparation for drama teachers and entrepreneurs.
