Program Description:

Your studies will encompass a broad background in analog & digital electronics, software development, modern communications and control systems.

You'll benefit from a thorough investigation of such areas as electronic circuitry, diagnostic techniques, microcontrollers, process control and computer systems/ networks. During the final year of the program, you'll focus on applying the principles you've learned to the design and testing of electronics projects. In addition, you'll study advanced topics in areas such as digital communications, control systems or programming to specialize in an area of interest to you.

The hallmark of this program is its blend of theory and practice. The theory not only gives depth to your understanding, it also prepares you for future advancement, both professional and academic. The practice done in our impressively equipped labs, gives you hands-on skills that employers in the electronics industry need.

Admission Requirements:

  • Ontario      Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with:

    • Grade 12 English: ENG4(C) or       ENG4(U)

    • Grade 12 Mathematics: (C) or (U)       or Grade 11 Mathematics: MCR3(U)

  • OR      Mature Student Status (age 19 or older) with required course(s), their      equivalent(s), or appropriate Academic and Career Entrance (ACE)      Certificate program credits.
