It was founded on July 1, 1998 by the former Christian Education Bureau of Montreal, the Catholic School Council, Jerome. - The Leroy Student Council and St. Croix Student Council were formed together.

The Montreal Public School Board does not provide accommodation for students. Students need to find homestay families.

Students in grades 10 and 11 need to earn 54 credits, of which at least 20 credits are earned in grade 11.

Note: French is a required course for Canadian English schools as a second language. International students have other academic qualifications. The Education Bureau can apply for a waiver order to the Ministry of Education.
