school introduction
A.Y. Jackson Secondary School was founded in 1970 and named after the famous Canadian artist A.Y. Jackson. The school has long provided excellent academic programs for students. About one-third of students in each semester board honorary list of honors, Ontario middle school reading ability test pass rate of more than 90% year-round, well above the average of Ontario. Nearly 75% of graduates enter the university each year, and most of them enter prestigious universities such as the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. Another 20% of them enter the college. The school excels in math and science curricula and offers not only gifted and AP courses, but also international rankings and top rankings.
