school introduction
John Polanyi Collegiate Institute is named after John Polanyi, a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and one of Canada's greatest scientists, now a University of Toronto professor. The school offers "I Think" leadership courses written by Roger Martin, Dean of the University of Toronto, to help students develop critical thinking, creativity and leadership skills. At the same time with the University of Toronto to provide legal advanced skills training courses. The school is a special gifted program for students interested in science, mathematics and robotics.
