Ride process

Passengers board the vehicle or enter the toll area of the station in various ways such as paying the fare in cash, touching Presto on the card reader of the subway station or all trams, putting valid tokens on gates or ballot boxes, Put valid ticket (for elders, students and children only) in the box or present a valid pass (such as weekly or monthly pass) or transfer card to the driver or station keeper.

Passengers only need to pay one fare for a free transfer between buses, trams and the subway system, but a transfer is also required upon payment. Passengers may collect the transfer permit from the driver upon payment of their bus bill, and the transfer permit will be available from the transfer card issuing machine upon the entry of the subway passenger. In addition, most of the stations outside the city center have bus or tram interchange stations where passengers can move within the toll area during their transfer. Therefore, they are also entitled to a free interchange without presenting a transfer permit.

About Transfer

As long as the extension of the same direction, or do not go back, in a reasonable time frame, no matter how many cars down, are a ticket. So how do drivers know you, reversing time is reasonable, did not go back? So, you need to get off the time for the driver to ask for a Transfer, just say "Can I get aTransfer Please?" Can be.

Note: TTC's Transfer Card can also be used at YRT. If TTC transfer YRT students remember to make up the middle of the difference.

As shown above, the TTC fares for $ 3.25 one-way adults and $ 4.00 for YRT so students transferring to YRT on TTC must learn math and pay a $ 0.75 spread.

TTC / YRT bike rack

The bus here is not the same as the bus in China. The bus here is a Bike Rack that allows the bicycle to be placed in front of the bus. This will save passengers a lot of time. For example, Xiaobian lived in the house about 20 minutes walk from the bus station, and later Xiaobian learned how to use a bicycle in front of the bus to buy a bike, this can save a lot of walking time. Note that when you put the bike to refer to the instructions on the clip, if necessary, can ask the driver. Xiao Bian reminds students here, each time after the bicycle on the bike rack to check whether it has been jailed to ensure that will not fall as a result of bumpy bike. Students can click on the YouTube link below to learn more intuitively how to use a bike rack.
