Ontario, Canada has always been the preferred location for international students to study, including the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, York University, the University of Western Ontario, Queen's University, McMaster University and more. Most of the international students hope to be able to migrate smoothly after graduation. Therefore, the most frequently received telephone consultations involve the immigration program for international students.

It is worth noting that many sophomores and juniors will pay attention to immigration news or call us to ask about relevant immigration policies and projects, but Canadian immigrants suggest that Canada's federal immigration policy or provincial nominee project will not last forever, every six months and A new policy will be issued in a year, so for the sophomore and juniors, the first task is to complete the school and try to improve the English level. Don't change the original intention of coming to Canada because of the news. Today, Xiao Bian summarizes the immigration projects of international students who are currently graduating in Toronto or Ontario or those who have graduated to work.

There are two types of projects for Canadian students to transfer people. One is to choose the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) experience immigrants under the Canadian Express Immigration System EE (Express Entry). In addition to the Federal Express System (EE), Ontario, Canada also has a provincial nominee technology immigration policy that is appropriate for the province.

First, let us introduce the basic conditions of the empirical immigration CEC.

Basic requirements

Intend to live in a province outside Quebec.

There is one year of full-time work or equivalent part-time work in the NOC 0, A, B category within three years prior to the application.

Full-time means working 30 hours a week, more than 30 hours is calculated according to 30 hours (so it is impossible to meet the requirements earlier than one year), less than 30 hours according to the actual working hours, adding up to more than 1560 hours.

Work experience does not require continuous, non-continuous work experience can also get the corresponding score in the scoring system.

Work experience must be obtained after graduation and legal status in Canada during work.

Work experience during full-time study cannot be counted. Work Permit is required during work, or after June 1, 2014, students have met the graduation requirements and applied for a post-graduation work permit for approval. Segment time work can also be calculated.

Applicants are not required to apply for experience immigration in Canada. For example, if the applicant has returned to China for one year after working in Canada for one year, he can also submit a Canadian experience immigration application in China.

Meet the language requirements for the position.

Work experience belongs to NOC 0, Class A: requires CLB7 level, equivalent to IELTS G class 4 6.0;

Work experience belongs to NOC Class B: requires CLB level 5, equivalent to IELTS G class reading 4.0+3 5.0

2. Score screening

Of course, the experience-based immigration program does not mean that the applicant is directly invited after reaching the basic requirements. After the applicant meets the above basic conditions, the applicant can enter the pool. The immigration office will score according to the applicant's conditions and then invite the immigrant according to the score. The Immigration Department will hold an invitation every two weeks or so. So far in 2018, the minimum invitation is 440 points.

In addition to the experienced immigrants under the rapid immigration system, friends can also choose Ontario's own provincial nominee program, and the province's nominated international students are mainly divided into two categories:

1. Provincial Nominated Express Lane Express Entry: Applicants in this category must first meet certain immigration categories under the federal ExpressEntry category. You must first create a file in the federal EE system. After the provincial nomination is approved, an additional 600 points will be automatically obtained. Add points; then upload the required files in the EE system, the basic process is electronic files;

2. Provincial nominations for traditional pathways: For example, the Masters category in Ontario does not require a federal EE system, as long as it meets the provincial nomination requirements for the project. After obtaining the provincial nomination certificate, the application is submitted to the federal government. The application for the federal part is still submitted by Paper Paper.
