Students wishing to apply for UOIT + Professional Dual Admissions can study directly at the language department under UOIT without having to go to other languages to apply for a language or apply for a school. On December 1, Kelvin Chan, director of Admissions and Acting Department at York University's Language Department at York University, visited Pa. As we all know, the University of York language department curriculum is more complex, the same day, Kelvin introduced York University's language department, language professional double admission and so on. Depending on the language of the student, York University has a corresponding language level for students to choose from. 

For students with no language basis, read on level 1 of the Academic Program (AP). AP is divided into 9 levels, each level about 2 months or so.

When AP students read Level 6, they can apply for YUBridge. At this time, they can apply for undergraduate admission. If the student IELTS score has 5 points, you can also apply directly to YUBridge (ie AP6 -AP9) + undergraduate dual enrollment. After 8 months of language study, you can directly enter undergraduate study at York University after passing the language study. It is noteworthy that during YUBridge, students can also take undergraduate credits, up to elective courses in three courses, 9 credits.

If the student IELTS score of 5.5 points, you can apply directly to Pre-Destination York (AP7) + Destination York (AP8-AP9) + dual undergraduate enrollment. Language learning duration of 4 months, after the language study, directly into the York University undergraduate study.

If the student IELTS score 6 points, you can apply directly to the Destination York (AP8-AP9 level) + undergraduate dual enrollment. Language learning duration of 2 months, after the language study, directly into York University undergraduate study.

York University does not offer double entry for master's degree programs. However, its GraduateStudies Preparation Program (GSPP) is quite well known. Undergraduate students with good grades can improve their language proficiency and research through GSPP. IELTS 5.5 points students, need to participate in 8 months of GSPP courses; 6.5 IELTS students, need to participate in 4 months GSPP course. Kelvin said although GSPP can not guarantee that students will be admitted to a York University graduate program, the program is well-known throughout the province and of high quality. Students completing the GSPP program receive 80% of the admissions for their master's program book.

There is also an IntensiveAdvanced Legal English Program for law students with an entry requirement of 6.5 for IELTS and a 4-month course length; 6.5 for MAB and special postgraduate majors, with an entry requirement of 6.5 and a course length of 2 Months.
