In 2019, the Express Entry fast track scores remained high, and the EE invitation scores for most of the first half of 2019 remained above 450.

Suppose a single applicant under the age of 30 has two years of Canadian College degree, IELTS 7 points, 1 year of Canadian 0/A/B work experience, and his EE score is only 399 points; even if he has 2 years of Canadian 0AB work experience, his score There are only 424 points. This EE score is still a lot worse than the invitation line!

The prerequisites for applying for this category are:

1. A valid file has been created in the EE pool

2. Meet the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category

3. EE is intended to immigrate to Ontario or any province or autonomous region

4. Received the Ontario Notice of Interest on the IRCC online account

To apply for this category, the following conditions must be met:

a. Work experience: At least 12 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time) Ontario work experience in the 2 years of receiving Ontario's intention to notify NOI. Work experience must belong to the NOC 633, NOC 72, NOC 73, NOC 82 category of skill occupations (both Class B).

b. Professional certification (if required): If the occupation requires certification in Ontario, it requires a qualification from the Ontario College of Trades.

c. Living in Ontario. Applicants must hold a valid work permit and currently reside in Ontario.

d. Language requirements. English or French must reach the level of CLB 5, which is 5 points for IELTS listening, 4 points for reading, 5 points for writing, and 5 points for speaking.

e. Resettlement costs. Deposits or income must meet the minimum requirements to support the life of the applicant and accompanying family members.

f. Intention to live: indicates intention to settle in Ontario

How to apply

1. Create an EE file into the pool on the IRCC online account

2. Wait for Ontario to select eligible applicants in the pool and issue Ontario's Notification of Interest

3. Complete the nomination application for the mechanic category in the OINP website. The application fee is $1,500.

4. After the provincial nomination application is approved, the applicant's IRCC account will receive a confirmation letter.

5. Accepting the provincial nomination, the applicant's EE file receives 600 points.

6. After the next round of EE is drawn, submit the EE application online.

7. Waiting for the government to pay the passport and get the maple leaf card
