Alberta Express Entry Introduction

What can increase the chances of receiving a NOI?

1. Have a job offer in Alberta or have a working experience in Alberta

2. Graduated from post-secondary education in Canada (including colleges and universities in Canada and other provinces)

3. Relatives living in Alberta (including parents, children, brothers and sisters)

What conditions will reduce the chance of receiving a NOI

1. EE profile will expire in three months or less

2. Applicants are engaged in the following occupations and will also reduce the chance of receiving NOI.

      -- Occupation belongs to "High-wage and low-wage occupations in the province of Alberta" (career reference link https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/foreign-workers/refusal.html #LOC)

     - Occupation belongs to Alberta Opportunity Stream Ineligible Occupations list (career reference link https://www.alberta.ca/ainp-selection-criteria.aspx)

     - Occupation belongs to a high volume of submissions across all AINP streams (career reference link https://www.alberta.ca/ainp-processing-inventory.aspx)

The number of EE NOIs issued in each round of the Immigration Department of 2019 and the minimum scores for each round of invitations are as follows:

As can be seen from the above figure, the frequency of NOI issued by the Department of Immigration in Alberta is very high. On average, there will be a new round of NOIs issued in about ten days, and the shortest interval is even four days. And the minimum invitation score is basically between 300-400 points, which is very worthwhile for Chinese applicants who have already met the basic conditions.
