The steps of WES certification mainly include two parts, one part is carried out on the WES website; and the other part of the domestic certification process involves the China Higher Education Student Information Network (Xuexin) and the China Degree and Graduate Education Development Center (degree network ).

 Part 1: WES official website

1. Open the WES official website https://www.wes.org/

2. Click Sign in, choose to register a new account and set a password, select the appropriate item: WES standard Application or ECA Application for IRCC, fill in personal information and communication information.

Please note that if the applicant wants to apply for Canadian immigration, please choose ECA Application for IRCC.

5. Select the required authentication type

The types of academic qualifications for studying abroad are divided into two categories:

① Course-by-Course Evaluation (most choice)

② Document-by-Document Evaluation

There are two authentication methods in each category:

① WES Basic only provides certification reports (no transcripts are provided);

② In addition to providing certification reports and transcripts, WES ICAP will permanently archive student records and may apply to WES to provide certification reports and transcripts to institutions at any time.

After receiving the complete set of documents, the processing time is 7 working days.

There is only one option for academic qualifications for immigration purposes. After receiving all the documents, the processing time is 35 working days:

6. Choose delivery method

If you send it to yourself, you can choose Standard. If you send it to colleges, it is recommended to choose one that can be tracked.

7. Confirm authentication information

Confirm the authentication information and pay the authentication fee. After that, WES will prompt you to submit the corresponding materials (see the figure below). These materials need to be processed through the China Higher Education Student Information Network (CHESICC, Xuexin Network).

1. English Translation of Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate

It should contain English translation of online verification report of higher education degree certificate, Chinese degree verification report, and a photocopy of original degree certificate issued by the awarding institution.

2. Academic Transcript issued in Chinese and English

These are official documents issued by the institution you attended that list all subjects taken and grades earned for each semester of study. The documents must include the official stamp of the designated office (e.g. office of academic affairs, office of archives) at the institution you attended.

Part II: Xuexin Network and Degree Network

After completing the application procedures on the WES website, the next step is to go to the domestic certification section. This needs to be done through the China Higher Education Student Information Network (CHESICC, Xuexin Network) and the China Degree and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC, Degree Network).

Click WES required documents to preview the documents required for different educational qualifications:

For Postsecondary Students (Graduated) The application process is as follows:

1) Higher degree report card certification report: enter the online application platform Online Application Platform

2) Higher degree qualification certificate certification report: From the International Cooperative Application drop-down list of CHSI Archive, go to English Translation. If you graduated before 2001, please visit the Online Application Platform to apply for the qualification verification report

3) Higher degree certificate certification report: enter CDGDC to apply for Chinese degree certification report. Then go back to the CHSI website and apply for an English degree verification report from the English Translation of the International Cooperative Application drop-down list in the CHSI Archive.

It is mentioned here that you are going to the degree network (CDGDC, see below) to apply for a Chinese degree certification report. After the Chinese degree certification report is issued, upload the scanned copy of your degree certificate and the Chinese degree certification report in the "Xinxin Archives-International Cooperation Application-English Translation", and fill in the relevant degree information. , You can obtain a translation of the degree certification report and send it to the destination institution / university.

[The application process for college students and high school students is relatively simple. First, submit the application to the Online Application Platform, and then submit the document to WES through the CHSI Archive. This can be done according to the guidelines of Xuexin website. 〕

2. Select "Educational Qualification and Achievement Certification" and choose to apply online

5. The transcript certification report issued by Xuexin.com must be accompanied by the original transcript and submitted to WES. Therefore, you need to mail the original transcript for certification to the certification center and attach a personal statement. 2. Click the "Certification Application" button to enter the "China Degree Certification" webpage

3. Fill in the online authentication information item by item and submit the application after confirmation. After submitting the application, the information can not be changed
